Hawai‘i is Hiring is a one-stop online resource that connects kamaʻāina to job opportunities, training programs, and career navigation.

In response to COVID-19, the Hawai‘i Community Foundation (HCF) has collaborated with community leaders, government agencies, and local businesses to raise over $11.4 million (as of 6/5/2020) for nonprofit organizations across the state to protect front line health care workers with PPE, conduct mass food distributions, support a team who is building respirators for our state's shortfall, and more.

House of Mana Up is using its e-commerce platform to connect the world with Hawaiʻi's rising entrepreneurs and their incredible products in an effort to support Hawai‘i-based product businesses–especially as we experience the effects of decreased tourism in our local market. In the Island Leadership Lab pilot, University of Hawai‘i William S. Richardson School of Law Dean Camille Nelson will be joined by Omidyar Fellows and several “Leaders in Residence” for an immersive leadership experience grounded in a curriculum specifically developed to prepare next-generation leaders for success.

Utilizing financing of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) of 2022, we have the opportunity to develop, install, and finance a portfolio of Solar+Storage+Energy Efficiency projects at LMI households in Hawai’i through a pilot project of Whole Home Energy Retrofits on Department of Hawaiian Homelands (DHHL) households.
