Drive Electric Hawai‘i (DEH) is a network led consortium of 16 public, private, and nonprofit signatories committed to:
- Building a broad coalition in support of this vision for renewable transportation.
- Incenting and accelerating the deployment of EVs.
- Incenting and accelerating EV charging infrastructure that will support 100% renewable energy.
- Developing and deploying transactional and regulatory mechanisms that will enable the full value of electrified transportation.
The signatories launched DEH after a retreat at Rocky Mountain Institute where they found an opportunity to prime Hawaii’s support for clean electric transportation through cross-sector collaboration. Entering into its fifth year, DEH plans to develop a near term strategic roadmap, clear governance structure, and guiding principles.
