Community Members Needed for “Rural Broadband Mapping Project”

‘Auamo Collaborative a non-profit corporation is hiring short-term data collectors to serve on a community outreach team for its "Rural Broadband Mapping Project," that's set to begin next month. 

The project aimed at discovering broadband capabilities in the rural areas of Hawai‘i Island, Maui, Lāna‘i, Moloka‘i, and Kaua‘i.

A recent statewide survey supported by Kamehameha Schools and conducted by Marzano Research reported that 34% of Native Hawaiians and 35% of non-Hawaiians experienced insufficient access to digital devices and Internet connectivity.
