HECO Launches Public Feedback Tool for EV Charging Station Placement

Hawaiian Electric Co. has introduced an online tool for the public to give feedback on where in Oahu, Hawaii Island or Maui County it would like to see new electric vehicle charging stations.
The Charge Up Hawaii program includes a survey and interactive map of the Island chain on which people can drop pins for their location preference.
HECO is looking to expand its publicly available EV fast-charging network beyond the 25 in its service territory by making its pilot program permanent. It is under Hawaii Public Utilities Commission review.
