Hawai‘i Pacific Health has named Jan Boivin as senior vice president of human resources and organizational effectiveness, the nonprofit health system announced on July 23.
She will start in the role on Aug. 5 and succeeds Sunshine Topping, a spokesperson with the organization told Pacific Business News.
“I am thrilled to be joining Hawai‘i Pacific Health at such a critical juncture for Hawai‘i’s workforce,” Boivin said in a statement. “HPH is immersing itself in the community to empower high school and college students to become Hawai‘i’s health care professionals of the future. Combined with continuing education for health care professionals, the creation of alternative pathways to certifications and degrees, and sensitivity to technology and its impacts in the health care environment, HPH’s innovative and thoughtful efforts will truly help Hawai‘i for generations to come.”
