Re-use Hawai‘i, a nonprofit that offers businesses an eco-conscious alternative to demolition projects, is expanding its sustainability efforts to workforce development in the Islands.
The Honolulu-based nonprofit has overseen several deconstruction projects throughout the state, including the former Kona Village Resort, the former Honolulu Ward Warerhouse, and a former Kawamoto mansion in Kāhala, among others, according to previous reporting by Pacific Business News.
In addition to deconstructing properties and salvaging materials for reuse, Re-use Hawai‘i also has two redistribution centers on Oahu and Hawai‘i Island where it sells reclaimed goods.
