Ka‘iulani Sodaro has always been curious about the past and drawn to pondering the future.

“Planning is the nexus of being reflective and knowledgeable of places and people before us and intentional about where we go next,” she recently told Pacific Business News. “Growing up on Oahu with diverse and layered cultural experiences has shaped my thinking and ultimately my desire to pursue an education and profession in planning and real estate development. Simply, places bring people meaning and people bring places meaning, and we all have a role in contributing to a thriving future together.”
